Make a Salad Bowl - Thursday Evening 11 September '25
Pottery Class | Thursday 5:30 - 7:30pm
Dates: 11 September 2025
Location: Federal Village, Byron Hinterland
Get Muddy: 2hr Evening Clay Club
Craft a handmade salad bowl — a centrepiece for shared meals and gatherings. This relaxed evening workshop is all about slowing down, getting creative, and making something beautiful (and sustainable) with your own hands.
What You’ll Make
With Sasa’s guidance, you’ll hand-build a one-of-a-kind ceramic salad bowl — the kind that invites generosity, connection, and conversation around the table. Think “perfectly imperfect”, with all the charm and character of something truly handmade.
Whether a little wobbly, delightfully lopsided, or shaped with your unique touch, your bowl will be a vessel for more than just food — it will carry stories, gatherings, and moments shared.
Lesson Length
In this 2-hour class, you'll learn essential hand-building techniques to shape and decorate your unique salad bowl. After class, we’ll take care of the firing and glazing, and your finished piece will be ready for pick-up in around 4 weeks.
No Experience Needed
Absolutely no clay experience required — this workshop is open to all potters, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth.
What to Bring
- Wear comfy clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy
